Kangding Ray (real name David Letellier) was born in France and currently resides in Berlin. Before taking on the path of electronic music, Letellier evolved as a guitarist and drummer in various bands with influences ranging from rock and pop to jazz and now his music is a crossroad of digitality and sensitivity. In his compositions, melodies combine with machine sounds in a subtle and rhythmic suite. Kanding Ray skilfully integrates guitar loops, bass lines, residual noise, acoustic instruments and digital anomalies to create a textured soundscape. His live performances are known for being intense moments of musical experimentations.
