Birthed in Manchester, UK, Casual Violence is an electronic music composer of note, live artist and DJ who has garnered a solid reputation for his dark and deeply visceral techno sound.

With industrial, drone, noise, and experimental musical influences; the Casual Violence sound and aesthetic is often characterised by dark, organic atmospheres and textures that are driven by hypnotically deep and pulsing rhythmic energies.

Following a steady release output over the last half decade on globally respected labels such as Rodz-Konez, Sect, Subsist, Singularity, Audio Assault ARMS and Aftertaste (for which he scored a worldwide hit with the Depeche Mode sampling Briefly Sexual), he’s recently set up his own Maieutics label which will release the highly anticipated Casual Violence debut album Ashes These after the summer.
