Will there be a bus to Tundra?
Yes, there will be buses which shall take you straightly to the festival form
How can I reach Tundra by car?
This year the festival is located at Zarasai district, on the Peninsula of Dūburis Lake. The comprehensive description can be found here. Before leaving memorize the route or print the map.
Which is the best way to get to Tundra?
Each of the ways has its advantages and disadvantages and depends on your needs. However, we kindly advise you to go with your friends if possible and leave your car at home, or by bus or just find the congenial in forums. If you travel with your own car and have some spare place, do not stay indifferent to people and give a lift to others. This can be a very interesting trip, where you can find new friends. This can also save your money, reduce pollution and prevent from accidents.
Where should I park my car?
The cars must be parked at certain places, which will be determined at your arrival. Only people with special permits will be allowed to drive in the festival territory or park in it.
How much does the parking cost?
It is free of charge to everybody. The security guard may ask you for the permit if you try to enter the territory
How much will the ticket cost at the entrance gates?
On the first day (July 3rd) – 105 Lt, second (July 4th) – 85 Lt, third (July 5th) – 55 Lt. The price includes the 5 Lt deposit for trash. You will be able to retrieve it with a special coupon by handing the trash bag while leaving the festival.
Does a flyer allow a discount for the entrance?
No, it doesn’t. The flyer provides with the information.
Are there any discounts for the tickets?
Yes, “Laisvalaikis” card provides with the discount of 12% for the advance tickets and 20% during the festival.
How will I know what, where and when?
At your arrival you will receive an information paper, where you will find extra information about territory plan, camping, stages, cuisines, showers, WC and etc.
Where shall I locate?
At the territory you will find camping zones. You can freely select a place for your tent but only at camping zone.
Does the camping cost?
No, it doesn’t.
What should I know about the safety of my stuff?
Get acquainted with your neighbors, memorize their appearance and exchange your numbers. Do not leave unattended or do not bring with yourself precious things which you cannot carry with yourself. Don’t leave them unlocked in your cars, tents.
When is the opening of the festival? When will it end?
People will be allowed to enter since July the 3rd 2009, Friday, 12:00. The beginning of the program is at 22:00. Then festival ends on the 6th of July at 12:00.
DURING THE FESTIVAL
Can I take pictures or film?
Yes. However, remember that not everybody likes to be pictured, thus, ask for the permit before taking pictures or filming.
Will there be food (and what kind) in the festival?
Part of the bistros will be open 00:00 – 24:00 hours, where you will be able to taste vegetarian or traditional dishes. This year we have even more bistros, thus, there is no need to bring food with yourself. You will be able to reheat your food on special fire places. It is forbidden to build fire not on a special places.
What should I know about the trash collection at Tundra?
At your arrival you will receive a special coupon, which gives you a right to retrieve a 5 Lt deposit, which is included in the ticket price. Mind your coupon till your departure. If you lose your coupon, you lose your right to retrieve a 5 Lt deposit. There will be enough trash bins at the territory, so, please, do not litter and do not to stay indifferent to the people who do so.
Can I and where can I build fire?
There will be special fire places at the territory. They will be the only places, where you can build fire. It is forbidden to build fire anywhere else except the special fire places. The offenders can be immediately sent home.
Showers, toilets?
At the territory there will be many bio-toilets and separate showers for participants and visitors. More information will be given in the paper which you will receive at your arrival.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING AND WHAT NOT?
Pets
We kindly ask you to leave your pets at home. If you do not have such possibility, do not leave your dogs unattended and without a muzzle.
Accomodation
It will last for four days, thus, please, bring a tent, sleeping-bag and stuff for your comfortable rest.
Leisure
Do not forget to bring balls, flying saucers, table games and other things for a pleasant day.
Food and beverages
This year we have even more bistros, thus, there is no need to bring food with yourself. In case, you decided to bring food, please, make sure it does not perish quickly.
Hygiene and vermin
Do not forget to bring repellents from mosquitoes and hygiene products.
Sound
As usually the sound near the stage is extremely loud. Please, remember that spending lots of time at the stages can cause irreversible processes in your audition. We kindly advise you to preserve your health and wear special earplugs.
